SuBo ‘on top of the world’

Susan Boyle

Troubled Britain’s Got Talent songbird Susan Boyle looks to have bounced back from last week’s meltdown, describing her week-long stint in the The Priory as “a little holiday”. The visibly happier 48-year-old Scottish spinster flew back to her West Lothian home yesterday to spend some quality time with her family, friends and beloved cat Pebbles.

“I've got my sleeves up ready. From now on there's nae cr*p,” SuBo boomed, before confirming she will be joining this year’s Britain’s Got Talent tour after all.

“I have spoken to Susan and she is very excited and positive about the future,” the singer’s brother John added. “She told me: ‘Don't worry. I'm having the time of my life.’ She said she felt fantastic and couldn't wait to come back home this weekend. She was giggling away and sounded more relaxed than she has in ages.”

It’s all brilliant news for Susan’s worldwide fanbase, who’ll be even more delighted to learn that she’s returning to London later in the week to begin work on her hotly-anticipated debut album. Pop mogul Simon Cowell reportedly has a lucrative contract ready for SuBo to scribble on – but has told her he will cancel the deal if she would rather return to her pre-BGT life of anonymity in West Lothian.

“Simon would love to turn Susan into a big star around the world, but only if she wants that,” said a source close to the high-trousered one. Something tells us she does.
